Our Atlantic Attempt is an account of the the first attempt at a transatlantic flight by Harry George Hawker and Kenneth Mackenzie Grieve. Both men were rescued by a Danish steamer when they were unable to complete their daring mission as planned across the Atlantic Ocean. Hawker died in July 1921 in a plane crash at 32. Grieve died in September 1942 at 62.
